Ratings
96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. “Lastly, the blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvi- gnon W.P. Foley II, has exquisite concentration, purity and depth. Flowery, graphite, blackberry, cocoa and espresso notes are followed by a full-bodied, impeccably well-balanced wine. This is built like a skyscraper. Obvi- ously, the proprietor wanted the best stuff to be put under his name, and surely he has achieved something quite special that should prove to be the greatest wine to date in the Chalk Hill AVA. Forget it for 4-5 years and drink it over the following three decades.” - March 2016

Vineyard Notes
Since its founding, Chalk Hill Estate has been recognized as one of California's benchmark producers. Our 1300+ acre property is located at the convergence of a number of diverse climates, soils and terrains in the northeastern hills of Sonoma County. The complexity of the terroir enables our winery to produce an extraordinary range of wines from around 350 acres of vineyards woven among the native oak woodlands, meadows and streams. To preserve the long-term viability of the ecosystem, all of our vineyards are maintained using low-input, sustainable viticultural practices.
